Cinema Shusher
Timothy Meadows
Timothy Meadows takes movies very, very seriously. And so he should, being one of Australia's leading shushers. Timothy's job is to ensure that the only sound heard in a cinema comes from the speakers, and not from the loudmouth in the third row who's talking on his phone.
Listen to the radio ad:
Starting out as a junior cinema monitor, Timothy trained under the legendary Peter Black, who pioneered shushering back in the silent film era. Having trained with the best of the best, it wasn't long before Timothy had perfected the art of moving silently and had honed a shushing technique that could stop even the most obnoxious cinema loudmouths.
Timothy loves his job, although he still dreams of the day when loud patrons will be blacklisted from cinemas.
