The Department of Disarmament has a fantastic opportunity for a Cannon Safety Inspector to be employed on a permanent basis. This rewarding and thrilling role will provide you with the chance to expand your knowledge of cannons that will lead to a long-term opportunity for career progression.

As a key member of the Cannon Safety Team, you will travel to parks and memorial sites across the country to ensure that disused war relics remain inoperable.

Additional duties will include:
  • Municipal cannon audits
  • Cannon polishing
  • Giving lectures on cannon safety at kindergartens.

Requirements:
  • Extensive knowledge of pre-WW2 cannons
  • A cautious demeanor
  • Delicate hands for cannon handling.
