About us
Beacon Lighting has been illuminating Australian homes since 1974 and to this day we remain proudly Australian owned and operated. We are the countries leading lighting retailer with stores across Australia, and a strong commitment to supporting energy efficient solutions, which is demonstrated not only by our exciting lighting products, but also by our Beacon Solar division. We have a Commercial Division, an Installation Service, and a modern Distribution Centre, and all areas of the business are supported by a team of functional experts in our head office based in Melbourne.
In Victoria in 2007, we won "The Age Dunn & Bradstreet" Business of the Year Award and in 2009 we were recognized again as Retailer of the Year by The Age Dunn & Bradstreet. Both awards are a reflection of our strong financial and market position.
Our success is made possible by the contribution of those individuals and teams working within our business.
