Calvary Christian College aims to:

To provide an education which seeks to realise both comprehensiveness and excellence and to bring up children in the discipline and nurture of Christ as Saviour and Lord.

To this end, the College will seek to provide:

- An extension of the Christian environment of the home by the more formal process of learning so that spiritual, academic, social and physical growth are integrated.

- Education for the whole child equipping the student for living in the world and for eternity.

- A Christian world view on all curriculum areas, thus enabling students to live, work and witness in the world through the blessing and power of the Holy Spirit.

- An appropriately balanced range of teaching strategies so as to develop both personal self-discipline and a strong sense of team awareness, and from this dual concept equipping each child as an important member of the body of Christ, the family and community.

- Learning situations for the development of ethical standards and values as expounded by the Scriptures.

- For the development of the child’s creative and critical abilities.

- And to stress co-operation rather than competition, fostering development of gifts, skills and abilities of the learner for service to Christ and the community.

The Staff and Parent team will seek to bring the children into a significant relationship with Christ and with themselves, their neighbours and their environment. They will provide appropriate care, so that through Christ and by the power of His Spirit there may be a growing awareness of this relationship as students move towards maturity.
